This is a four-day class that addresses advanced rigging specific to complex confined space scenarios. The venue for this training is the Titan Missile Museum in southern Arizona. The Titan Missile Museum, a 135 foot deep silo with the missile still inside, offers an impressive array of multi-level, confined space challenges. There will be extensive use of the TerrAdaptor multipod, as well as other state-of-the-art equipment and techniques specific to tight enclosed environments. This course runs in sequence with Rigging Physics 1 and is designed to further expand the participant’s knowledge base in rigging physics. The focus is on rigging calculations that is paramount for advance techniques used by rope rescue instructors and rope access practitioners, including; friction coefficients, aerial ladder and crane torque analysis, tension & compression equations for anchor considerations, and fall factors/impact force specific to industrial lead climbing and rope access.
